Current enrollment in an approved Alberta nursing education program leading to initial entry to practice as a registered nurse or registered psychiatric nurse. Edmonton Acute Care applicants (Grey Nuns, Misericordia, Villa Caritas) must have successfully completed either: 3rd year of an RN education program or 2nd year of an RPN nursing program or final year of an after-degree nursing education program, along with a minimum of 600 hours of clinical practice. Rural & Continuing Care applicants (all remaining Covenant sites) must have successfully completed 3rd year of an RN education program along with a minimum of 450 clinical hours of practice. Current Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (CPR) certificate. Documentation of current and on-going enrollment and number of clinical hours completed is required from your Faculty of Nursing.
