Must be currently enrolled in an approved Alberta nursing program (RN or RPN) Must have a current Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (CPR) certification Completed 3rd year of an RN program, or in the final year of an after-degree RN program; or Completed 2nd year of an RPN program Minimum 600 hours of clinical practice within the approved program
Additional Required Qualifications:Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search, dated within six (6) months prior to start date, is required. Current enrollment in an approved Baccalaureate Nursing program, entering or in 4th year, and meeting all clinical requirements set by your post-secondary institution. Your resume must include details of clinical hours completed and/or expected to be completed by the start date, as well as your current year and term of study.
Preferred Qualifications:Placement in Women’s Health will be considered an asset along with an interest in a long-term nursing career in Women’s Health at the Misericordia Hospital.
