Your Opportunity:

Work with other members of the labour and delivery team to provide a safe place for patients to delivery their newborns. This includes but not limited to the cleaning of triage, labour and operating rooms, stocking on the unit, physical movement of beds and proper MDRD processes. Please note: Classifications Under Review.

Description:

Description: The Unit Attendant (Labour & Delivery) is responsible for the movement of patients, supplies and materials throughout the hospital and maintaining a clean, safe and stocked environment for an assigned area. This position is covered by the terms and conditions of the CUPE 41 Collective Agreement.

Required Qualifications:

Required Qualifications: Completion of Grade 10 or recognized equivalent required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience within a labour and delivery setting an asset. Housekeeping experience within a hospital setting preferred.
