Required Qualifications:

Must have a Certificate from a recognized training program which includes a practicum component.  A course in Medical Terminology is required.  Must have at least two to three years directly related experience.  An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Excellent typing and computer skills. Excellent spoken and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills. Ability to independently function and problem solve. Ability to collaborate collectively with all disciplines.

Preferred Qualifications:

Medical terminology and Connect Care experience preferred. Ability to prioritize tasks and responsibilities, cope with frequent interruptions and maintain composure within a fast-paced environment. Ability to diplomatically address patient/family concerns.
