Required Qualifications: Must have a Certificate from a recognized training program which includes a practicum component. A course in Medical Terminology is required. Must have at least two to three years directly related experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Additional Required Qualifications:Unit Clerk Diploma from recognized Educational Institution required. Proven working knowledge or medical terminology required. Minimum typing speed of 35-45 wpm required.
Preferred Qualifications:Minimum one year directly related experience preferred. Demonstrated working knowledge or Microsoft Word, including formatting abilities is preferred. Testing may be administered for typing speed and medical terminology. Connect Care, Netcare training an asset.
