Must have a Certificate from a recognized training program which includes a practicum component. A course in Medical Terminology is required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Additional Required Qualifications:Recent experience working as a Unit Clerk in an acute care setting is required. Experience in using hospital-based computer systems and programs, such as EPIC and Microsoft 365 suite of applications, is required. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing frequent interruptions and competing demands. Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to effectively support the needs of the unit.
Preferred Qualifications:Recent Unit Clerk experience working in the NICU is preferred.
