Must have a Certificate from a recognized training program which includes a practicum component. A course in Medical Terminology is required. Must have at least two to three years directly related experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Additional Required Qualifications:Recent Unit Clerk experience on an acute care unit required. Must have experience working with hospital based computer systems and programs. Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain efficient while experiencing multiple interruptions. Must have the ability to prioritize unit needs.
Preferred Qualifications:Recent Unit Clerk experience working in the NICU is preferred. Recent experience working with VAX, NetCare and Metavision preferred.
