Required Qualifications:

Member in good standing with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta required. Baccalaureate of Nursing Degree (BScN) required. Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (Level C) required. Minimum 2 years proven management experience leading teams required in acute care setting. Minimum 5 years of related clinical experience required. Charge nurse experience required.

Effective change management skills. Proven dependability and accountability. Strong computer skills with the ability to adapt to advances in technology. Preferred Qualifications:

Perioperative Nursing Certification preferred. Master’s degree in nursing, Health Studies or Business preferred. Exhibits strong clinical knowledge and skill in Operating Room nursing. Demonstrated aptitude for leadership and progression in career. Provides evidence of professional development. Experience as a nurse educator is an asset. Evidence of excellence in leadership, interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills.
