Graduate of a Registered Nurse program or recognized equivalent required. Active registration with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA) required. Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (Level C) required.
Additional Required Qualifications:As Required.
Preferred Qualifications:Two years’ experience in a supervisory or management role, ideally in a rural healthcare organization of comparable size and complexity that includes both acute and long term care. Quality Improvement experience coupled with experience in leading/supporting quality improvement projects. Leadership Development courses. A demonstrated commitment to the provision of care in accordance with established standards, and the Mission, Vision, Values, policies and procedures of Covenant Health.
