Required Qualifications:

Post-Secondary certificate in a related field (Human Resources, Payroll, Project Management, Training). 5 years’ experience in staff scheduling and payroll. Experience with scheduling software (Kronos Workforce ESP preferred) and human resources information systems preferable PeopleSoft.


Additional Required Qualifications:

Knowledge of collective agreements and related legislation. Computer literacy including the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Working knowledge of SharePoint, MS Project, Visio and/or Microsoft Skype. Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication, and listening skills, as well as the ability to communicate effectively in a co-operative, respective, and sensitive. Demonstrated ability to handle issues and concerns while maintaining discretion, diplomacy and tact. Must be able to work in a fast-paced demanding environment, exercise sound judgement, and be extremely flexible in managing variable and unpredictable situations. Excellent detailed analytical and problem solving skills.


Preferred Qualifications:

Working knowledge of Covenant Health systems, policies and processes and general business operations. A combination of education and experience may be considered. Project Management or Business Analysis certification preferred. Ability to facilitate education sessions and training sessions. Experience in a unionized environment required; healthcare experience is preferred.
