Required Qualifications: Completion of Grade 10 or recognized equivalent required.
Additional Required Qualifications:Two (2) to three (3) years directly related experience in cleaning and/or laundry in a health care setting. Experience in a leadership role. Experience with basic computer operations. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English. Demonstrated ability to act in a leadership position. Ability to lift 25 pounds above shoulder height.
Preferred Qualifications:Grade 12. WHMIS certificate. Good time management skills, planning for deadlines. Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills. Mathematical and numerical skills. Demonstrates a high degree of confidentiality and high levels of honesty and integrity. Housekeeping and laundry technical skills and a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of Hospital and Long-Term Care. housekeeping and laundry including inflection prevention and control principles.
