Description: The Power Engineer 3rd Class is responsible for performing repairs and inspections on a variety of building equipment and mechanical systems in accordance with Alberta Health Services and Alberta Boiler Safety Association (ABSA) standards and practices. This position is covered by the terms and conditions of the IUOE Collective Agreement.

Required Qualifications: A 3rd Class Power Engineer Certificate required.
Additional Required Qualifications:This position would be for a shift engineer, working days/nights/weekends as the rotating shift schedule needs. The successful engineer would also have to be comfortable working alone at all hours, and being first in responding to building related emergencies.
Preferred Qualifications:Shift work experience is an asset.
