Your Opportunity:
Exposure to noise, water, fluctuating environmental temperatures and unpleasant odors normally associated with the warewashing areas in an institutional food services facility. Significant periods of standing and reaching, resulting from prolonged lengths of time spent at workstations. Pushing and pulling of utility carts, garbage carts and lowerators weighing up to 160lbs. Exposure to various chemicals compounds and cleaners some of which require special handling. Hands are in water for long periods of time. Frequently required to lift weights up to 25lbs - 40lbs. Must have ability to operate both the dishmachine and potwash machine. Must be able to work holidays, weekends and flexible hours as workload demands. Please note: Classifications Under Review.

Required Qualifications: Completion of Grade 10 or recognized equivalent required.
Additional Required Qualifications:Ability to read, write, speak and understand English. Displays superior eye/hand coordination, manual dexterity and speed for working on a tray/dish disassembly line. Must have high standards of cleanliness and sanitation. Must be able to understand proper cleaning and sanitation procedures. Must possess good interpersonal skills. Must have time management skills and the ability to plan for deadlines. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Ability to follow directions and guidelines.
Preferred Qualifications:Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS). Food Safe.
