Your Opportunity:

Under the supervision of the Supervisor, Health Information Management, the Clerk II provides clerical support services by selecting and preparing patient records for offsite storage according to selection guidelines, and performs other duties as assigned. Must maintain confidentiality of all information handled. Must have the ability to perform the physical requirements of the job – pulling charts and packing/lifting boxes. Required Qualifications:

High School diploma or recognized equivalent required.

Additional Required Qualifications:

High school diploma required, secondary training in office (medical) procedures. Medical terminology required. Word processing/keyboarding skills (30 wpm) required. Ability to organize and prioritize workload. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Preference will be given to applicants with Health Records Department experience. Selected candidates will be tested prior to an interview.
