Bachelor’s degree with a quantitative background (ie: Finance, health sciences, informatics, or computer science).
Additional Required Qualifications:
Two (2) years of clinical analytics experience within the healthcare. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, with a keen attention to detail. Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Experience working successfully in both collaborative and independent work settings. Broad knowledge of provincial and organizational health system/service priorities. Strong understanding of healthcare data structures, terminologies, and regulatory requirements (eg. HIA, HIPAA etc). Proficient in relevant software applications (including MS Excel, MS Word, MS Powerpoint, MS teams). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to adapt to and respond to a changing environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, particularly Connect Care, EPIC, or similar systems is highly desirable. Basic knowledge of SQL/ R/ Python/ SPSS (or expert level of Excel). Knowledge of healthcare operations, clinical workflows, and quality improvement principles. Change Management, Project Management or Lean experience. Knowledge of Tableau.
