Bachelors Degree in human resources, education, social sciences, social justice, human ecology, business administration or related field combined with a minimum of 5 -10years of experience related to DEIB. A combination of education and experience would be considered.
Additional Required Qualifications:Experience working in a capacity where you supported or led DEIB initiatives, coordinated e.g and implemented DEIB programs, policies, practices and related organizational change strategies (preference to those who have navigated DEIB issues related to human resources within the public sector or a large-scale unionized organization). Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate, problem solve, negotiate, work with and build relationships with diverse groups and individuals across institutional and community contexts. Previous experience with stakeholder engagement, consultation, and facilitation. Experience working with diverse communities, groups and/or organizations (i.e. ethno-cultural, equity-setting, racialized, faith-based, 2SLGBTQ+, vulnerable, marginalized, persons with disabilities, and persons across all age groups, etc.). Ability to effectively manage detailed work, documentation and reporting while adhering to short timelines. Skills and experience in strategic thinking, strategic planning and/or aligning project goals/aims with institutional mission, vision, and values. Experience in the development of best practice recruitment templates and tools and the delivery of education sessions to clients.
Preferred Qualifications:Working knowledge of Covenant Health's Mission, Vision and Values, systems, policies and processes, and general office policies and procedures. Experience with Gender-Based Analysis Plus (GBA+). Experience consulting on complex or sensitive issues such as human rights related complaints and investigations. Experience leading, supporting, or managing diversity and inclusion committees. Project management and/or research coordination experience an asset.
