Required Qualifications:

Required Qualifications: Completion of Grade 10 or recognized equivalent required.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Ability to read, write, speak and understand English. Must possess excellent interpersonal skills. Displays excellent communication skills. Must possess high standards of sanitation, cleanliness and neatness. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Display superior eye/hand coordination, manual dexterity and speed for working on a trayline/POD/dishroom disassembly line. Ability to remain calm. Ability to exercise judgement and initiative to satisfy customers/patients requests. Must have time management skills and be able to plan for deadlines. Must have excellent customer service skills. Display high levels of honesty and integrity. Ability to follow directions and guidelines.

Preferred Qualifications:

Required to lift weights frequently of 15-20lbs. Exposure to temperature changes. Must be able to cope with high levels of noise during peak meal service times. Must be adaptable and willing to perform a variety of tasks on a rotating basis. Must be able to work in a busy environment with frequent interruptions in work flow. Must deal with patients and residents in a courteous and tactful manner. Exposure to various chemical compounds and cleaners, some requiring special handling.
