Minimum of 5 years in leadership/management capacity; strong working knowledge of provincial home and community care; skilled in strategic and tactical thinking and problem solving; ability to effectively present information, expectations, ideas and concepts to a variety of audiences; strong ability to build relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders who can influence the development of policy and service delivery and to work collaboratively and effectively with others to achieve results; experience with leading projects through planning, execution, reporting, monitoring and evaluation; ability to multitask and lead a number of different projects; ability to function in an environment of complexity and change; proficiency using Microsoft Office; ability to travel between sites and across the province.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Post-secondary education in health and/or community care or support services required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of provincial seniors' health and wellness systems; grant writing experience; business development experience; working in a multidisciplinary environment which includes team members involved in research or quality improvement activities.
