Your Opportunity:
The Edmonton General Continuing Care Centre is seeking casual Licensed Practical Nurses to support our staffing pool. Our Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) work to their full scope of practice as part of a collaborative, interdisciplinary team, providing compassionate care to nearly 500 residents in long-term care, subacute care, and hospice. Our facility, located in the heart of Edmonton, offers a supportive environment where healthcare professionals can grow and make a real difference. We kindly ask that applicants have consistent and flexible availability. New graduate LPNs are encouraged to apply. This is an excellent opportunity to transition from the classroom to clinical practice, gaining valuable hands-on experience while building the foundational skills essential for a successful nursing career. As an LPN, you will work collaboratively with an experienced healthcare team while also taking initiative to lead care delivery independently. You’ll provide compassionate, resident-focused care and be expected to practice to your full scope, including leading care teams and supporting daily clinical tasks. All applicants must be actively registered with CLPNA at the time of application. Covenant Health is deeply rooted in Alberta's integrated health system, with a legacy spanning over 150 years, we deliver quality, innovative services across 17 sites in 12 communities.
