Your Opportunity:
We are looking for a Maintenance worker, on our Rolling stock team, to be our primary bed mechanic on site. Duties will include repairing and doing preventative maintenance on all beds and rolling equipment, as well as helping out the other trades and maintenance team as needed on a day to day basis. Please note: Classifications Under Review.
Description:
Under minimal supervision, the Maintenance Worker III performs highly skilled repair maintenance and installation duties on complex mechanical systems and equipment requiring the use of schematics, blueprints and specifications in accordance with accepted standards, regulations and procedures. This position is covered by the terms and conditions of the CUPE 2111 Collective Agreement.

A 5th Class Power Engineer Certificate or a trade on the Government of Alberta list of Compulsory and Optional Certification Trades is required. Must have a valid Class 5 driver's license.
Additional Required Qualifications:Minimum 5th Class Power Engineering ticket required. Trades ticket, or other certifications, will be reviewed and assessed on a case by case basis.
Preferred Qualifications:Knowledge of Hill-Rom and Stryker beds preferred. Maintenance experience in a commercial or Healthcare Facility preferred.
