Required Qualifications:

Baccalaureate degree in Nursing. Occupational Health Nursing Certificate. Current license and registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA) and Alberta Association of Nurses (AAN). Current First Aid and CPR.


Additional Required Qualifications:

3 to 5 years recent experience in Occupational Health Nurse setting. Sound knowledge base in Occupational Health and Safety practices. Good understanding of trends and issues in Occupational Health and Safety sector. Excellent assessment skills. Must be self-directed, self-motivated, and possess strong problem solving, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel in a windows environment. Receptive to change and able to prioritize in a fast-moving environment. Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.


Preferred Qualifications:

Membership with Alberta Occupational Health Nurses Association. Membership in Canadian Occupational Health Nurses Association. Hospital Occupational Health Nurse experience. Previous experience with delivery of adult education/training.
