This position plays a key role in driving the successful delivery of projects that align with Covenant Health’s strategic goals and priorities. The Project Manager will collaborate with projects teams to manage scope and delivery of a range of complex, time critical projects, develops evaluation criteria for assessing project outcomes and documents various stages of project development, implementation and status using standardized tools, templates and processes. We are searching for an individual who has demonstrated sound knowledge and expertise in project management, strategic/tactical thinking, analysis, relationship building, negotiation, conflict resolution, time management and problem solving. This Project Manager will provide project management expertise and project leadership to project teams across the Covenant Health continuum (Acute Care, Continuing Care, Rural Care); integrate all project components to create consistent, cohesive documents and plans; develop and maintain project work plans; identify and monitor project dependencies and activity sequencing; act as a liaison between various stakeholders during applicable project stages to ensure completion of project activities within set timelines and targets; determine financial and human resources needed for project success; seek, assign and manage project resources as needed. This position will also facilitate planning sessions with project teams to determine current & future state, required actions – including sequencing and interrelationships within the project; develop and manage project work plans and timelines; monitor and report on project tasks throughout project implementation (PDSA); develop, schedule, and implement education sessions as required. The Project Manager will meet with stakeholders during implementation to ensure consistent communication and application of the plans; identify and report risks and issues to the Vice President – Growth & Development in a timely manner; meet with stakeholders after implementation phases to review outcomes and make any necessary adjustments, ensuring sustainability of project; support the development and implementation of a robust project management system within Covenant Health; build capacity for project management through modeling and coaching; facilitate the growth of Covenant Health’s innovative culture and output; amongst other duties as assigned. This is a non-unionized position.

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, health administration, or a related field. Minimum of five (5) years progressively responsible related experience in project management, three (3) of which are in a clinical/healthcare environment. Experience in project management methodology, tools and techniques required. Equivalent education and/or experience will be considered.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Proven experience in developing and implementing standardized project management frameworks; strong skills in relationship building, stakeholder engagement, facilitation, communication, presentation and reporting; demonstrated ability to lead multiple projects and manage competing priorities effectively; strong analysis, research and evaluation skills; ability to effectively communicate, using tact and diplomacy with stakeholders; ability to effectively manage multiple competing priorities; excellent leadership skills; creates and achieves results by engaging, facilitating and influencing individuals, groups, and departments; experience in team development and engagement; experience with risk and change management. Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment to develop and achieve organizational goals and objectives.
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters Degree in a healthcare or business-related field. Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification. Change Management certification (Prosci) and/or experience. Experience with Visio, MS Project.
