Required Qualifications:

University degree or technical diploma in Architecture, Engineering or a related field with equivalent experience, is required. Certification as a Project Manager (PMP), Construction Administrator (CCCA), Member of Alberta Society of Engineering Technologists A.S.E.T. or other equivalencies considered. Providing proactive strategic planning for the optimization of the best project implementation strategies for the projects and sites within Covenant Health. Adapt to a changing medical, administrative and regulatory environment.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years progressively responsible project management experience relating to the planning, design, construction and commissioning of large Capital projects valued over ten million dollars is required. Experience with Auto-Cad/Revit, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Project and the ability to give direction and leadership to consultants and contractors is required. Must be familiar with Building Codes and fire regulations for health care facilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Health Care projects; continuing care / healthcare facilities experience an asset. Ability to effectively communicate, using tact and diplomacy with Government agencies, Covenant Health Senior Leadership committees, staff, and with representatives of external agencies on a broad range of technical and administrative issues.
