Description:
Description: This position is responsible for receiving and distribution of materiel in accordance with departmental procedures, coordinating/processing outgoing shipments. This will directly involve receiving, inspecting, verifying and accepting or rejecting all supplies and equipment delivered to the hospital, and creating and processing inventory replenishment. Common functions will include data entry and origination utilizing a variety of software programs such as ORACLE and MS Excel, Word and outlook. The Receiver is responsible for maintaining auditable records in a timely, tidy and accurate manner. This position is covered by the terms and conditions of the CUPE 41 Collective Agreement.
