Graduate of a Registered Nurse program or recognized equivalent required. Active registration with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA) required. Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (Level C) required.
Additional Required Qualifications:Minimum of five years facility based nursing experience including geriatric experience (obtained within the last three years) is required. Experience in home care, supportive living or facility living is required.
Preferred Qualifications:Must be able to tolerate long periods of sitting, or standing as well as repetitive movements. Must be able to lift and carry 10-30 kg regularly. Must be able to participate in hands on care of patients (i.e.: transfers, bariatric clients, bending, twisting, walking distances).
