Your Opportunity:
Reporting to the Program Manager, the Secretary will provide support to the Program Manager and program staff. The position will provide support by arranging meetings, preparing and distributing meeting materials, taking minutes, arranging interviews, and includes word processing of documents and correspondence. Excellent skills in use of Microsoft Office computer software (MS Access, Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook); Ability to provide advanced administrative support; Excellent formatting, grammar, spelling, and proof-reading skills required; Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (in person, by telephone, and written) with professional level of diplomacy, confidentiality and tact required; Self-directed and motivated with ability to work with continuous interruptions in an environment of complexity and change, under pressure to meet tight deadlines required; Ability to work independently with a minimum direction or supervision required; Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. The position liaises with all programs and service departments and may provide secretarial support to them on an Ad Hoc basis. The position may also help by covering off in another area as directed. Description:
The Secretary II provides advanced level administrative support. The Secretary II performs these tasks in accordance with established standards, and the Mission, Vision, Values, policies and procedures of Covenant Health. This position is covered by the terms and conditions of the CUPE 2111 Collective Agreement.

One year related post secondary certificate required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Additional Required Qualifications:Experience obtaining product quotes, purchasing, shipping/receiving items. Data collection and reporting, funding requests, accounts payable and receivable.
Preferred Qualifications:Previous experience with inhouse computer interfaces such as Oracle, Markview, IAM, Connect Care, IT Portal, Facilities Portal.
