Required Qualifications:

Must have a Certificate from a recognized training program which includes a practicum component.  A course in Medical Terminology is required.  Must have at least two to three years directly related experience.  An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Additional Required Qualifications:

1-2 years Current Acute Care Medicine Experience Required (Inpatient Acute Care). Graduate of a Recognized Unit Clerk Program, which must include an acute care practicum component. Medical Terminology Course. Experienced and proficient in VAX.

Preferred Qualifications:

Proficient in speed and accuracy when typing (minimum 50 wpm). Experience in Medworxx, E-facilities, booking interfacility transport books.
