Your Opportunity:
Exposure to noise, water, fluctuating environmental temperatures and unpleasant odors normally associated with the warewashing areas. Significant periods of standing and reaching. Pushing and pulling of utility carts, garbage carts , tray carts and lowerators weighing up to 160lb. Exposure to various chemicals. Hands in water for long periods of time. Frequently required to lift weights of 25lbs - 40lbs. Must be able to operate the dish and pot machines. Must be able to work weekends, holidays and be flexible as workload demands. Description: The Food Services Attendant II performs higher level duties in the Nutrition & Food Services department. This position is covered by the terms and conditions of the CUPE 41 Collective Agreement.

Required Qualifications: Completion of Grade 10 or recognized equivalent required.
Additional Required Qualifications:Ability to read, write, speak and understand English. Must display excellent communication skills. Displays superior eye/hand coordination, manual dexterity and speed for working on a tray line/dish disassembly line. Must have high standards of cleanliness and sanitation. Must be able to understand proper cleaning and sanitizing procedures. Must possess good interpersonal skills. Must have great time management skills and the ability to plan for deadlines. Ability to work both independently and as part of the team. Ability to follow directions and guidelines.
Preferred Qualifications:WHMIS. Food Safe.
