Required Graduate of a Master's of Nurse program with an advanced practice component required. Active registration with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA) required. Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (Level C) required.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Proven problem solving and critical thinking skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Three to five years of medicine experience is preferred but will consider new graduates and mentor in program. Advanced current knowledge of Nursing Theory, Nursing Philosophy, Educational Theory, and Research. Advance Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). Excellent leadership abilities and teaching skills. Strong ability to manage flexing duties and working with a variety of physician teams.
