Description:

Reporting to the Manager of Organizational Development (OD), this position uses a values-based approach to build strong trust-based relationships and effectively collaborate with leaders, teams, and partners across Covenant Health to design and deliver strategic, innovative and human centered programs and solutions. These programs and solutions attract, engage, develop and enable diverse leaders and teams to thrive, deliver excellence in care and service, embrace change and contribute to a stronger, more effective healthcare system. Successful candidates will also possess the following capabilities: Organizational Assessment: Analysis of organizational design, systems, and culture. Strategic Planning: Align strategies with business objectives to enhance organizational performance. Change Management: Lead change initiatives from preparation through to sustainability phase. Leadership Development: Design and facilitate learning experiences that enhance the skills of current and future leaders. Talent Management: Design and implement talent management strategies Culture & Engagement: Promote an organizational culture that enables our people to be their best and do their best work for those we serve. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with diverse stakeholders, inside and outside Covenant, to achieve strategic objectives. Data-Driven Decision Making: Effectively measure initiatives and make data-driven recommendations. Please note that travel within Alberta is required and may include the use of a personal vehicle. A standard driver’s abstract may also be required for use of corporate lease vehicles. This is a non-union position.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in organizational development, change management, or a related leadership or consulting role. Proven experience leading large-scale change initiatives in complex organizations. Strong understanding of leadership development, talent management, and employee engagement best practices. Agile learner with a growth mindset, and desire for creating an effective health care system. Excellent communication, facilitation, collaboration and presentation skills. Proficiency with a variety of OD tools, assessments and methodologies, as well as HRIS and analytics platforms. Proficiency with the full suite of MS Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree in organizational development, leadership, business administration or human resources. Executive Coaching designation with the International Coach Federation. Certification in Change & Transition Management, Assessment Tools and/or Leadership Development. Formal training in talent management, organizational design and development, adult and action learning and/or group facilitation. Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation.
