You will support and partner with internal teams, leaders, and external stakeholders by providing structure, communication, and coordination across all stages of project work. From developing work plans and managing timelines to navigating risks and evaluating outcomes, you will play a key role in turning vision into action. Description:
Reporting to the Corporate Director, Mission, Spirituality and Volunteerism, the Project Coordinator supports the planning, coordination, and implementation of projects across Mission, Spirituality, Diversity & Inclusion, Volunteer Services, and Indigenous Care within Covenant Health. Working within the Mission, Ethics and Spirituality (MES) portfolio, this role provides project management expertise, coordination, and quality oversight across a range of complex and time-sensitive initiatives. The Project Coordinator collaborates with internal teams, leaders, and external partners to ensure effective stakeholder engagement, clear communication, and alignment with organizational priorities, values, and strategic directions. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining project plans, monitoring progress, managing risks, and supporting the successful delivery and evaluation of project outcomes. In addition, the Project Coordinator contributes to the development of resources, reports, and presentations, supports event and initiative coordination, and assists with special projects across the MES portfolio. The role requires a high level of professionalism, discretion, and the ability to navigate sensitive and values-based work environments. This position is non-unionized.

Masters preferred, Bachelors degree required. Minimum 3 years’ experience and exposure to health related environment required. Minimum 3 years’ experience with project coordination/management. Highly proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office software required. Highly developed speaking and writing skills required. Excellent organizational and facilitation skills. Ability to work with limited supervision. Professional, highly effective interpersonal & communication skills. Initiative and self-motivation. Discretion and confidentiality. Clear business and academic writing skills. Ability to research resources.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Experience with event planning, employee recognition.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification as a Project Manager is an asset.
