Description:
Reporting to the Director, Major Capital Projects, the Project Manager, Growth & Development is responsible for leading the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of capital, strategic and operational projects across Covenant Health. This role provides project management leadership for a range of complex and time-sensitive capital initiatives that support organizational priorities and align with Covenant Health’s mission, vision and values. The Project Manager works collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders including contractors, consultants, clinical and corporate teams, physician leaders and senior leadership to support successful project planning, coordination and delivery. The position is accountable for managing project teams, scope, timelines, budgets, risks and stakeholder engagement throughout the project lifecycle, while supporting effective communication, documentation and evaluation processes. This includes coordinating project activities, facilitating engagement and supporting decision making to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and achieve intended outcomes. The Project Manager contributes to the development and implementation of project management processes, standards and methodologies that support organizational effectiveness and continuous improvement. The role also supports relationship building across stakeholders and project teams, helping foster collaboration, alignment and successful project outcomes within complex and evolving environments. This is a non-unionized position.

A Bachelor’s degree in business, design, engineering or a related field, along with 3+ years of project management experience within a complex or multi-stakeholder environment. Demonstrated experience applying formal project management methodologies, tools and techniques is required. Equivalencies in education and experience may be considered.

The ideal candidate demonstrates strong project management expertise with the ability to lead and coordinate complex initiatives in fast-paced and evolving environments. They bring strong organizational, stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and influence project outcomes. The candidate demonstrates sound judgment, adaptability and comfort working within ambiguity while managing competing priorities and timelines. Strong communication and facilitation skills are essential, along with the ability to present information clearly and effectively to a variety of audiences and stakeholders. The successful candidate brings strong analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to support project planning, implementation, reporting and evaluation activities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required, along with the ability to work effectively with project documentation, reporting tools and project management processes. The ideal candidate demonstrates professionalism, accountability and a commitment to continuous improvement while aligning with Covenant Health’s mission, vision and values. A valid driver’s license is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
A Master’s degree in business, health administration, innovation or a related discipline. Project Management certification such as PMP or an equivalent designation. Experience supporting growth, innovation, service expansion or business development initiatives.
